Art of Self-Esteem (ASE) believes in and values the power of a healthy self-esteem, self-love and the potential and promise it can bring to a young person life. ASE is Brooklyn-Based grassroots, non-profit organization established in 2009. It is a space created to help foster and develop healthy self-esteem through multidisciplinary arts to enhance children, teens, and young adults’ emotional, cultural, economic, medical, educational, and professional well-being and growth. We provide fun-themed community and in-school arts programming which cultivates essential life skills in young people. Through standards-based school and community workshops, we use the vocabulary of music, photography, mixed media, fine arts, and other arts to cultivate essential social, emotional, cognitive, and personal creativity inherent in every person.

Why Us
Help build healthy self-esteem through multidisciplinary arts.
Teach children, teens, and young adults aged 10-25 life skills and other valuable tools in weekly one or two-hour meetings, including intervention and prevention workshops.
Build leadership, self-expression, and a working relationship between children, teens, young adult community leaders within their neighborhoods and the greater society.
Advocate With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. Advocacy is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each day to make a positive impact.
